Jenny Saville workshop

Jenny Saville workshop, originally uploaded by jasonshogreen.

Over the past two days I had the good fortune to partake in a painting workshop with Jenny Saville. I'll write more later and share some photos, but quickly, she's a remarkable, kind, generous woman and it was a transformative couple of days (I think). She's everything you'd hope one of your favorite artists would be.
Also, she is surprisingly short.

  1. that must have been great, I am so jealous

  2. Yes please, more info on her teaching method, and your experience, you're so lucky.

  3. jason sho green, youre cool and you havent been updating much and that makes me lonely, esp. your paintings, the process behind them is super fantastic and I want to see a new evolution. PLEASE! yes, i'm greedy and need more, i've already looked through ur entire site and need more.

    thank you very much, emma

  4. I'll share some details when I get some free time over the Thxgiving break.

Emma - thank you that's very sweet. I'll try to get to updating more, but when I'm actually being productive I always forget (on top of papers, etc, ugh). I'll be updating the website at some point over the christmas break. thanks for your greed.

  5. glad my greed is welcome. how do you say u inspire me without it sounding cheesy? anyway cannot wait, just may hold my breath. have a good thanksgiving/ xmas
    best, emma
